Barista's

Job Summary: The barista is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. He/she is also responsible for educating customers about our premium coffees and teas. The barista fulfills any other duties the store manager, lead barista/assistant manager assigns and represents Kafe Hub in a professional manner.

Requirements, Qualifications & Physical Demands:

  • Entry-level position. 

  • Runs errands, when needed, to pick up supplies and/or product. 

  • May work special events, as needed. 

  • Maintains positive Company morale and professional attitude.

  • Must be able to work overtime, as needed. 

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Well-organized and detail-oriented. 

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear.

  • Frequently required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms. 

  • Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds. 

  • Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages.


Lead Barista / Assistant Manager

Job Summary: The Lead Barista / Assistant Manager has proven ability to provide quality customer service and demonstrated knowledge of coffee products, equipment, and tea products. The lead barista has the responsibility for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. He/she is also responsible for making a difference to our customers by educating them about our premium coffees and teas. Lead baristas are instrumental in building customer relationships and fostering a positive and friendly store environment. They also provide technical guidance to new team members and assist in the training program. The lead barista fulfills any other duties the Store Manager assigns and represents Kafe Hub in a professional manner.

As Assistant Manager you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a Total Quality Experience for both our customers and team members. Assistant Manager assists in training, customer service, product knowledge and education, encouraging safe work practices, and directly supervises the barista positions and acts as the manager on duty in the absence of the store manager.

    Requirements, Qualifications & Physical Demands:

    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of retail or six months of specialty coffee experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
    • Basic computer skills required. Runs errands, when needed. 
    • Works special events, as needed. 
    • Maintains positive Company morale. 
    • Must have successfully completed the master espresso, bean and tea classes. 
    • Must have received a meets expectations or above on their most recent performance review and not have received any disciplinary actions within the prior three months.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate and train fellow team members in Kafe Hub standards. 
    • Excellent verbal and written skills. 
    • Well-organized and detail-oriented. 
    • Register and cash handling experience. 
    • Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. 
    • Frequently required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms. 
    • Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds. 
    • Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages. 
    • Must be able to work overtime, including weekends, evenings and special events as  needed.

    Store Manager

    Job Summary: The Store Manager is a store leader that primarily focuses on Serve, Manage, and Develop. Success as the Store Manager role includes developing team members by providing on-going coaching and training in order to ensure high performance and effective succession planning.

    Requirements, Qualifications & Physical Demands:

    • A minimum of two years of retail management/supervisory experience and/or related experience and training. 
    • Continuous demonstrated ability to lead and provide excellent customer service. 
    • Proven and on-going ability to drive sales and control costs. 
    • Experience coaching, training, and developing others. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Effective time management and delegation skills.
    • Ability to effectively problem solve, using sound judgment.
    • Performance that consistently demonstrates our Vision, Mission, and Values.
